Certificates for the Passionate Plume (my dh had to take a pic). The first place award itself is a silver quill and inkwell pendant. I got two. I'd not had the opportunity to put my erotic romances into a contest until this year, and I'm thrilled by the result!

Congratulations to the winners of the Stormwalker ARC contest: Billie-Anne, Lynn, and Catherine. I had several hundred entries, so competition was tough, but I appreciate all the response. Stay tuned; I'll have more contests for other things throughout the year--many books coming up!

I heard last night that I triple finalled in RWA's Passionate Plume: For Tales of the Shareem: CALDER (Ellora's Cave); MORTAL TEMPTATIONS (Berkley), and MORTAL SEDUCTIONS (Berkley). Woot! Winners announced at RWA's National Convention in Nashville. Allyson James is racking up nominations this year: CAPA, RITA, RT Reviewer's Choice, and now this! Too cool.

Mortal Temptations Giveaway and Excerpts

I'm excited that it's 15 days from the official release date of Mortal Seductions. (Insert confetti throwing here. *g*)

The Mystic Realm is holding a contest until AUGUST 31 for a free, signed copy of Mortal Temptations (book 1 in the "Mortal" series).

Do you have to read Mortal Temptations first? Not necessarily. Demitri, the hero of Mortal Seductions makes an appearance in Mortal Temptations to help out the heroes in that book, and you learn he's a tiger shapeshifter. But you *really* get to know Demitri in Mortal Seductions--his past, his present, and you even meet his mom.

The heroine in Mortal Seductions is Val, a former vengeance demon who's trying to walk the straight and narrow. She needs help from Demitri, the man who betrayed her in the past.

She also needs a little help from a modern-day man who's just returned from duty in Afghanistan--Leon Dupree, a Cajun who turns up in Demitri's hotel on his way to help out his little brother. Leon finds Val and Demitri intriguing (ok, baffling), but Leon's got a few secrets of his own.
