Mortal Seductions is out!

Today is the official release date of Mortal Seductions.

This should be on bookstore shelves everywhere (this is the HEAT line, so it's mostly at Borders, B&N and the like, no Walmarts).

Mortal Temptations Giveaway and Excerpts

I'm excited that it's 15 days from the official release date of Mortal Seductions. (Insert confetti throwing here. *g*)

The Mystic Realm is holding a contest until AUGUST 31 for a free, signed copy of Mortal Temptations (book 1 in the "Mortal" series).

Do you have to read Mortal Temptations first? Not necessarily. Demitri, the hero of Mortal Seductions makes an appearance in Mortal Temptations to help out the heroes in that book, and you learn he's a tiger shapeshifter. But you *really* get to know Demitri in Mortal Seductions--his past, his present, and you even meet his mom.

The heroine in Mortal Seductions is Val, a former vengeance demon who's trying to walk the straight and narrow. She needs help from Demitri, the man who betrayed her in the past.

She also needs a little help from a modern-day man who's just returned from duty in Afghanistan--Leon Dupree, a Cajun who turns up in Demitri's hotel on his way to help out his little brother. Leon finds Val and Demitri intriguing (ok, baffling), but Leon's got a few secrets of his own.

Pub Updates

I've been silent a while because we had a death in the family over the holidays and it threw everything out of alignment. My husband and I are very sad, but we're doing ok.

I did get some updates about pub dates:

Fire Dragon (Dragon series book 3) will be out in November 2008. More on that at www.allysonjames.com/dragons.html

A new series from Berkley will start in March 2009 with Mortal Temptations, a paranormal erotic work with a heat level of my EC books. More on that when I get covers and things.

And I'm working on more Shareem. I had planned to get Calder's book done this week, but my schedule is completely wiped out. Please bear with me; it's been one heck of a holiday season.

I'll be updating my site soon--I don't like to let it go more than a month or so without updates. Actually, what I'll mostly be doing is sitting in a coffee house typing, typing typing to get all these books done!! That's ok, I love my job. Writing stories about very sexy guys just isn't a hardship. :-)
