Where/What I'm Signing at RWA National

Wednesday, July 28 5:30-7:30PM "Readers for Life" Literacy autographing. Open to the Public. Dolphin Hotel at the Swan and Dolphin resort, Orlando.

I have been told I'll have STORMWALKER and LADY ISABELLA'S SCANDALOUS MARRIAGE and/or possibly Shareem: AIDEN & KY (I never really know what I'll have until I sit down at the table.)

All proceeds from this signing go to literacy. The publishers are donating the books--keep your receipt because you can write off your purchase as a charitable donation. It's a good cause! Which equals shopping without guilt!

Berkley Signing: Friday July 30, 3:00-4:30PM (registered attendees only)

If you see me wandering about, feel free to stop me and ask me to sign. I don't mind as long as I'm not rushing late to an appointment.

I am very excited to announce the release of PRIDE MATES, written under my Jennifer Ashley name, which will hit the stores officially this Tuesday (Jan. 26). PRIDE MATES introduces a brand new series of shape shifter novels.

If you enjoyed the Dragon or Shareem series I did as Allyson James, or Jennifer Ashley’s Immortals series, I think you’ll enjoy this one too.

CHANGES:

As some of you may know, PRIDE MATES will be the last book I do at Dorchester Publishing. I’ve pretty much moved lock, stock, and barrel to Berkley, and they will now publish both my Allyson James and Jennifer Ashley novels. Dorchester will still publish my backlist, most of which is still in print and available at bookstores or from online booksellers (Amazon, B&N, Borders, etc.). And I still have things going at Ellora’s Cave as Allyson James.

January Updates

My Jennifer Ashley persona releases Pride Mates, a shapeshifter romance, on Tuesday (though readers tell me they're already receiving their copies from Amazon). See the Shifters site for Chapter 1, the "Human's Guide to Shifters," and more information. Soon to appear in a store near you!



Rio is now available on Kindle and hopefully Rees will follow soon (haven't seen him yet). Rio is also available in print as Double Shot (Rio plus Maia & Rylan).

Stormwalker has been copyedited, and very soon I should be able to post an excerpt. Yay!

Updates

The cool news is that Hot for the Holidays made USA Today at #50 and the New York Times list at #15! (That list will be published in the 10/18 edition of the NYT).

RAW!

I got back from Lora Leigh's Reader Appreciation Weekend (RAW) last Monday, but I've been crashing on getting a ms. done, plus I caught a cold (darn it), so I'm just now getting around to talking about....

How much fun it was!!!!

RAW is a smaller reader conference (about 250 people), but it focusses entirely on the reader. There are no writer's workshops, no panel discussions, nothin' like that. Readers party with their friends and buy books.

For me the writer, it was a great chance to catch up with my writer friends, meet readers, dance, and oh, yeah, buy books. (Not good enough for me that there was a ton of romances to buy at RAW, I had to walk across the street to another bookstore and stock up on mysteries and scifi fantasy as well. I am ill.)

I believe the next RAW will be in the same place (Huntington, WV), around the same time (September), but keep an eye out for details.
