Because I had to cancel a giveaway on a social networking site, due to changes in their policies, I will be giving away the bundle of three books pictured here (Forgotten Sea, by Virginia Kantra; Vampire in Atlantis, by Alyssa Day; and Shadow Walker by Allyson James) to one winner who entered our contest over on that social networking site.

Furious about facebook for doing this. Even heard on a book group on facebook that twitter is considering to do the same thing.
Many folks are going to tumblr, and I refuse to go back to goodreads. I had a strong reaction on how easily they allowed reviewers to deflame authors and when reported, they said "it's their opinion". I feel authors don't need that type of crap nor do they need to deal with it.
Ok, this is weird: I had a bunch of comments on this post, and I was going to comment back this morning--and now most of them are gone! WTF?
I did not erase them.
Happily, I have an email record of them, so they're not completely lost.
Gah. What is up with all this?
when blogger went down alot of posts and all comments were deleted off peoples pages. i couldnt get on myself till the next day. got to love the email part of it though

Nothing that you done. Blogger is having some technical difficulties. It's been happening on some other blogs I visit. Though how do you get the comments emailed to you? I'm curious? I have a blogger that I now and then post
So annoying! Let's hope it stabilizes.
I get email notifications when someone comments on my blogs. You set that under "Settings" | "Comments" --scroll to the bottom of the Comments settings page where it allows you to give blogger an address for email notification of any comments. I do that so I can tell right away if I get weird spam.
I ususally delete the comment notifications out of my inbox, but haven't had time to in the last couple of days. Good thing!
I will be announcing contest winners and more contests once I get everything in order.
